Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of communication and work discipline on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar. The sample size in this study consists of 37 employees. The results of the partial test show that the communication variable has an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar. Work discipline also has an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar. Furthermore, the simultaneous test between communication and work discipline variables shows that they both have an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar.

Partially, communication has an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar, with a t-value (3.443) greater than the t-table value (2.021). Partially, work discipline also has an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar, with a t-value (2.915) greater than the t-table value (2.021). Simultaneously, competence and work discipline have an effect on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Syariah, Keutapang Branch Office, Aceh Besar, with an F-value (41.661) greater than the F-table value (2.839).
